My Background & Approach
I come to Lumina Counseling with a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University, and with additional training at Counseling West. I bring an empathic, nonjudgmental, eclectic approach, recognizing that each client’s situation is unique. My therapy is informed primarily by psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and existential theories. I believe strongly in strengthening the therapeutic alliance with collaboration between client and therapist and find the process deeply rewarding.
