Nina Diepenbrock, MA
Who I Work With
I provide therapy and psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, relational stress, and challenges related to identity and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized, drawing from psychodynamic, attachment-based, and relational perspectives while integrating practical skills and creative interventions. I aim to help clients better understand themselves and their relationships, navigate difficult experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Background & Training
I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Brown University and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School, where I am currently completing my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. My training has spanned community mental health, school-based and outpatient settings, as well as psychological and neurodevelopmental assessment. Working with clients from diverse backgrounds and across different stages of life has taught me to approach each person with curiosity and tailor my work to their unique needs and experiences.
Beliefs & Interests
I believe meaningful therapy begins with a relationship in which clients feel genuinely understood and supported. I am interested in helping clients develop greater insight into the emotions and patterns that shape their lives while also building practical tools for change. I am particularly interested in attachment, trauma, identity, and relationships, including the parent-child relationship and supporting parents in better understanding and connecting with their children.
