Negeen Farida, M.Ed.
Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology
Who I Work With
I provide therapy and assessment for children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning differences, anxiety, depression, and related challenges. Drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation, I help clients develop practical, evidence-based strategies they can apply in daily life. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and engaging environment where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow.
Background & Training
My path to psychology has been shaped by more than a decade of experience in both educational and therapeutic settings. I earned a double B.A. in World Arts and Cultures/Dance and Psychology from UCLA, followed by an M.Ed. in Human Development and Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Currently, I am completing my doctorate at Fielding Graduate University with a concentration in neuropsychology, strengthening my expertise in cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional assessment. This interdisciplinary background enables me to integrate creative and evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs.
Beliefs & Interests
I believe every person has unique strengths, and part of my work is helping clients recognize and build on them. I take a whole-person approach, honoring personal values, cultural context, and life experiences, while addressing challenges that may be impacting well-being. I am passionate about connecting neuroscience, psychology, and education to create interventions that are both practical and personally meaningful. My background in the arts inspires me to design creative, mind–body interventions that foster growth on multiple levels.
