About My Clients
I have primarily worked with adults and adolescents transitioning into adulthood. I am eager to bring my previous experience working with children and families into the therapeutic space. I offer a warm, lighthearted approach that supports clients in finding their strengths and inviting in challenging emotions. I have worked with personality disorders, psychosis, mood disorders, and addiction. I believe a diagnosis does not define a person. There is always hope. Together we can nourish curiosity around what blocks you and what you seek. I will encourage you to ignite the soul, embrace the messiness of life, and build resilience in the darkness.

My Background & Approach
I received an MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. My unique background rooted in depth psychology and psychodynamic therapy values the therapeutic relationship and using the unconscious patterns in our lives as a guide. I offer a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to the work and remain dedicated to social justice and serving a multitude of cultures. I also integrate behavioral therapies to utilize a holistic, human-centered approach that is tailored to the client’s individual needs. Previously I worked in an intensive outpatient clinic where I specialized in psychosis and mood disorders, operating closely with psychiatry and crisis management. I ran group therapy on a variety of topics including Family Dynamics, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Resiliency, and Creative Expression. Prior to my clinical experience I spent 9 years working with children from ages 2-18 where I tutored and specialized in executive functioning tutoring for adolescents with learning differences, ADHD, OCD, and anxiety disorders. I strive to find innovative ways to bridge my background in education, therapy, and the creative arts into my work with clients.

My Personal Beliefs & Interests
It takes courage to share your story with a stranger and even more courage to examine yourself and be witnessed by another. I believe in providing a safe container for clients where all emotions are welcome and encouraged to be felt. I show up authentically and want my clients to feel empowered to do the same. It is an honor to walk beside my clients in their hardest trials.
